Overlooking Eyre Square in the heart of Galway City, The Skeffington Arms Hotel offers 24 bright, individually designed modern rooms. All of the colorful rooms include flat screen tv's, complimentary Wi-fi, tea stations with coffee machines and all rooms are ensuite. The hotel also features the Famous Skeff Bar attached and is open until 2am, 7 days a week. The Skeff Bar has live music nightly followed by DJ until late. The Skeff Bar is also the ideal spot to watch all sporting events on the big screens. The bar also serves delicious food daily from breakfast right through to dinner. Parking is available at a 50% reduction to hotel guests in The Q Car Park (which is a short walk from the hotel), with a hotel stamp. It is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please note the hotel is located on a pedestrianized street but if required you can pull up to take your bags into the hotel and then make your way to the car park. Please note that we are very lucky to be located right in the middle of Galway City Center, overlooking Eyre Square and we also have a very lively bar attached which is also part of the Skeff family. We try our best, but sometimes things do get a little loud around these parts, so please bear this in mind when you book with us...

- The room and staff were awesome.
- If you¿re looking to be in the middle of Galway, this is a great hotel for you. The staff was very friendly and pleasant.
- The Skeff was the best hotel during our entire 10 day trip through Ireland. Such wonderful friendly staff. Breakfast was AMAZING!
Cons -
- The hotel is very dated/worn (peeling paint on the ceilings in the bathroom). Very tight hallways (one person wide). If you are looking for a quiet experience, do not chose this hotel. Parking was also a challenge, due to the location.
- Parking was in a car park and it cost extra to park.

The location was wonderful! The hotel had a great pub and nightclub with live traditional Irish music and later regular music. We didn''t even need to walk all over searching for someplace to go out. Everyone was having so much fun right there.
Parking was in a car park and it cost extra to park.
