Leenane Hotel is family-run hotel, where fresh seafood from the harbor and vegetables from the hotel garden are used every day. With traditional decor, every room has its own features, with most containing beautiful pieces of original antique furniture. The location of Leenane Hotel makes it an excellent base for exploring Connemara. The facilities include a bar, a spacious restaurant and a private resident’s lounge.

- The location of this hotel was the main driver in our selection. The wait staff in the restaurant/bar were very good!

- The location was more than we could have hoped for. Second to that, the staff and food were both fantastic. The room was large, cozy and clean.
Cons -
- I would have preferred to have had an elevator with multiple bags going to the 2nd floor.
- hotel is older, so rooms are not in great shape. Walls are thin so if you are on the first floor you will hear absolutely everything from the room above
- Nothing I didn't like.
