Located in Reykjavik’s business district, this Hilton hotel offers a 5-star gourmet restaurant, popular breakfast buffet and helpful, knowledgeable staff. Hilton Reykjavik Nordica’s bright rooms feature wooden floors, a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee facilities. Many offer views of the Akrafjall and Esja Mountains or Faxaflói Bay. The in-house Vox Restaurant specializes in Icelandic and Scandinavian cuisine. The top floor executive lounge offers views over Reykjavik. Guests with access can enjoy their breakfast here as well as refreshments throughout the day. All guests enjoy free gym access. Other spa facilities accessible for a fee includes 2 spa baths, an outdoor hot tub, a relaxation pool, 2 aroma steam rooms and a sauna. Exercise and yoga classes can be booked on site.

Pros +

The staff were very helpful with booking excursions and making great recommendations for things to do
The Hilton essentially located with easy pick up for our tours. The rooms were perfectly clean, and the staff was amazingly accommodating.
Rooms were basic and okay for what we needed.

Cons -

The shower
I cant think of anything negative to say.
The room climate was very stuffy. No AC, had a window to crack.

Staff at the night front desk, was all smiles, polite, and courteous. He seemed to sincerely care for his guests.  the manager, excellently took care of a terrible customer service given by one of his morning staff by doing all that he could.

Staff at the front desk, was out to seriously ruin our stay. Could not believe this was the Hilton standard. He lacks empathy and kindness, which I doubt are skills one can easily learn by training. How he works at a 4-star hotel is a mystery.
