Located just a 15-minute walk from the historical center of Bordeaux, by the Botanical garden of La Bastide and the Pont de Pierre, ibis budget Bordeaux Center Bastide offers modern accommodations and a all you can eat buffet breakfast. Nouveau Stade Bordeaux is 5 mi away. Guest rooms are bright and have a private bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin, a flat-screen TV and free, unlimited Wi-Fi. Some of the rooms have views of the Saint Marie de la Bastide Church. Every morning a selection of fresh fruit, cereal, yogurts, bread and croissants are served in the breakfast lounge. There are also vending machines with snacks and hot drinks. The hotel is 13 minutes by car from Bordeaux-Saint-Jean station and only 984 feet from the Stone Bridge of Bordeaux. Private parking is available on site at an extra cost.

- It was cheap The room had the bare necessities It was close to a supermarket The staff were friendly on the whole (see below)
- This hotel was what it said on the tin comfortable beds, reasonable location near a tram stop or a 15 min walk across the bridge into the centre!
Cons -
- Location was a bit far from the centre especially if taking a taxi as it had to go a long way round to avoid the main pedestrian bridge. One of the staff members working on Friday 18th in the morning was extremely rude to us and refused to store our luggage. His general attitude was very unwelcoming and very unlike the other staff members who were super friendly.
- Would have liked a seperate bathroom and a larger actual room ( the sink and shower were in the main room!)
