The 5-star Anantara Vilamoura offers a tranquil retreat a 10-minute drive from the Vilamoura Marina and 1.9 mi from the stunning Falésia Beach. It features a heated outdoor pool from October until May. Facing the swimming pools, air-conditioned rooms and suites feature a modern design and are equipped with a flat-screen TV, a docking station, a mini-bar and a coffee machine. Bathrooms are open-plan with walk-in shower, bath, hairdryer, slippers, robes and luxury amenities. Anantara Vilamoura offers a varied gastronomic experience with its 3 restaurants and 3 bars. From a refined reinterpretation of the traditional Portuguese cuisine at Sensai, to the ultimate seafood adventure at Ria, guests are guaranteed to have a glamorous and emotive experience. Please, note that RIA is seasonal. The Palms Pool Bar provides refreshing juices from local produce, while the Cascades pool and bar offers adult-only tranquility between June and September with cocktails, light snacks and chilled wine. Afternoon tea and post-dinner digestives can be enjoyed at the Anantara Lounge and Bar. Facilities at the Anantara Vilamoura include a Conference Center with capacity for 700 people with its 8 versatile rooms. Kids Club is also available. A complimentary shuttle to PuroBeach Restaurant and Beach concession is provided. Guests have the Palms swimming pools at their disposal that offer either adult-only or family enjoyment moments with a heated children's pool between October and May. The Anantara Spa offers Thai and Algarvian inspired treatments as well as Yoga and tai chi sessions. The heated Vitalidade indoor pool is for exclusive use of adult guests of the suites. Most active guests may unwind at the floodlit tennis court or the fitness center. Anantara’s prime location offers guests the perfect starting point to discover the Algarve. Faro’s Old Town is 15 mi away while Loulé with its picturesque city market is a 20-minute drive away. Albufeira is 8.1 mi away and Faro International Airport is a 30-minute drive away.

Anantara Spa will be closed until 24 March as we make improvements. Meanwhile, there will be no access to the Vitality Pool, steam room or sauna, Anantara Spa services will be available in the second floor treatment suites, the gym and Palms pool will be open as normal. Please note that the hotel reserves the right to charge the entire stay upon arrival. The name on the credit card used for the booking should correspond to the guest staying at the property. Please note that the heated indoor pool with hydro-massage circuit is available only for guests over 18 years old. In order to ensure a relaxing environment, the Cascade Swimming Pool is for adults from 18 years old. The 2 main swimming pools and the children’s swimming pool are available, both located in front of the hotel’s central wing. Check-in and Early check-in: - Check-in time is from 15:00 onwards; - Early check-in is available, subject to a surcharge: if it occurs before 10:00, the previous night’s full room rate will be charged; if check in occurs after 10:00 and before 15:00, a surcharge equivalent to 50% of the previous night’s room rate will be applied. Check-out and Late check-out: - Check-out time is until 12:00; - Late check-out is available, subject to a surcharge: if it occurs between 12:00 and 16:00, the equivalent to 50% of the previous night’s room rate will be applied. If check-out occurs after 16:00, that day’s full room rate will be charged. Please note that the shuttle to PuroBeach operates between 9:30 and 00:00 and is unavailable during Winter season. The access to the Vitality Pool, Sauna and Steam Room facilities at Anantara Spa, are for an additional charge. Guests staying in one of our Suites, have the access to these facilities included during their stay. Please note that dogs and cats are allowed upon request and subject to approval, with a maximum weight of 25kg. Limited availability. - The spa but it was cold and the staff rude. The water was freezing and so was the sauna
- Excellent service and food. The room was very spacious and the comfy bed lounger on the balcony was great for relaxing! We stayed half board and the choice of food was very good in the Ria restaurant and Sensai. All in all we had a great stay. Thanks.
