The Wyndham Grand Algarve is located in one of Portugal’s largest golf resorts and surrounded by the tranquility of Ria Formosa Nature Park. This recently renovated All-suite 5-Star hotel includes a Spa with a treatments pool (only for adults) and offers well-appointed accommodations, with all the mod cons. Each Suite is creatively designed with focus on comfort and functionality. All suites boast furnished living rooms and balconies with views of landscaped gardens. The spacious Suites come equipped with HD TVs, kitchen supplies and the added comfort of five-star services and amenities. Free Wi-Fi is provided. Guests can enjoy Breakfast at CARAVELA Restaurant overlooking the pool. The hotel provides a delicious menu focused on healthy signature dishes, salads, pizzas and burgers on the poolside outdoor terrace of the OÁSIS Poolside Café, where cool drinks and refreshing cocktails are served while guests indulge in the Algarve sun. With a bistro chic concept, Wyndham Grand Algarve’s restaurant XXL Quinta do Lago by Olivier, overlooks the hotel gardens, and serves a dinner menu that exposes the union between respect for Portuguese cuisine traditions and the irreverence of restaurateur Olivier da Costa. At the GRAND Bar & Lounge guests can have tasty bites while exploring the cocktails menu while listening to live music. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform Wyndham Grand Algarve of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. A damage deposit of EUR 250 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. Please note that there are beach transfers upon request during July and August. Access to the SPA, including the treatment pool is only allowed to guests over 18 years of age. Guests requiring an invoice should include their invoicing details (name, address and VAT number) in the Special Requests box when booking. Please note that invoices cannot be changed after they are emitted. Please note that all facilities are subject to change according to season and weather conditions. - The staff was extremely friendly, courteous, and helpful. Everything was very clean, well-maintained, and spacious. We especially loved our suite and its amenities.
- It was my second time staying here and I loved it even more than the last time. The rooms are spotless and have everything you could possibly need. The bed is soo comfy! We used the spa twice which was lovely and relaxing. The staff were all so friendly. Wouldnt hesitate to come back.
Cons -
- If it's labeled 'Adults Only', then it should be consistently enforced and not just mentioned on signs outdoor and indoor. The sauna is very small (fits a maximum of two people), creaks loudly, and isnt in a separate areaits openly accessible in the 'Adults Only' pool area. So in the end, you end up being the naked one among the pool guests.
- Not walking distance to that much but just a short cab away which was fine for us!
