- I liked that it was very quite and in the heart of city centre.
- Have stayed here a number of times before and I am always very satisfied and I always recommend it to friends who ask me where to stay in Athens. It is great value for the money. The Zappion Hotel is in a neighbourhood that I personally like very much. A bit away from the touristic areas, but still within walking distance to everything. It is surrounded by a lot of nice and good value restaurants (e.g. at Platia Proskopon or Platia Varnava). This time I had a room on the top floor with no other rooms next to it or above it. It was perfectly quiet and I couldn't have wished for more. Everything that matters to me is good: comfy bed, air condition/ heating, good internet connection, clean, lots of storage space, shower with good water pressure and constant temperature, and pretty quiet.
Cons -
- I didn't like how small it is but it is totally value for money if you combine with the fact that it was very quite and in a good area of athens(pagkrati). Also the staff was very friendly!
- I really can't complain about anything. It is a simple hotel and the price reflects that. There is no luxury, but the overall offer fits my needs and the staff is super friendly and helpful. A few things could be fixed/ upgraded (bathroom tiles, toilet), but personally, I don't mind as long as everything is clean and otherwise comfortable.
