The Ibis Budapest Citysouth hotel is located a 15-minute drive from the Budapest Liszt Ferenc Airport, opposite the Határ út M3 Metro Stop. Renovated in 2016, all nonsmoking rooms are air-conditioned and soundproofed. The reception and the bar are open 24 hours a day for your convenience. The restaurant serves burgers and snacks for lunch and dinner. Modern conference rooms of Ibis Budapest Citysouth provide an ideal environment for business meetings.

- Staff was courteous and cooperative.
- The hotel is located at a central intersection, 30 minutes by subway to the city center. Excellent for those who need a hotel with parking and near the airport.
- Very good breakfast. The room was very clean, with a nice view outside the window (forest). It has an elevator. The hotel is very well connected: metro and tram are very near. There is a supermarket nearby.
Cons -
- Air condition wasnt working and windows could not be opened unless one opens the entire balcony door which opens towards the forest. Room was v hot at night. Cushions and mattress werent comfortable. Breakfast was very average for the price. Location doesnt help if one reaches the hotel in evening as there are no cafes / restaurants on walking distance. There is a small cafe near reception with very limited options. Considering the place is far away from city Centre it doesnt offer good value for money for tourists.
- The air conditioning system did not cool and it was very hot and humid in both rooms we took In a way that made it really hard to sleep
- The beds are a little small. There is no fridge in the room.
