The luxurious 5-star NH Collection Prague Carlo IV is located in the center of Prague, a 10-minute walk from Wenceslas Square. The modern part is individually furnished in an exclusive contemporary style, while the historical part features high ceilings and 19th century décor. All rooms offer air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a mini-bar. Bathrooms consist of free toiletries, a bathrobe, and a hairdryer. Modern Czech and international cuisine can be enjoyed in the 1890 Restaurant & Bar, which offers an elegant and historic ambiance. - Location and lobby aesthetic.
- Very nice staff who make you feel like a VIP. Safe hotel with modern accommodations while still maintaining the old-world charm. Their spa area is phenomenal!
- The property is magnificent. Beautiful lobby with welcoming staff. Excellent bar and restaurant area. Probably the best place we've stayed for the money in Europe. Room was typical in size, except the extremely high ceiling gave it a great feel.
Cons -
- Hot water was not clean, came out of the tap brown.
- The hotel is very dated from the inside. The rooms are extremely small. The rooms are so dated that they are difficult to clean. Walls have a fabric wallpaper, very dirty. Room ceiling is very high, which seems nice at first glance, but is also dirty.
- A few stairs to navigate when entering the "old" portion of the hotel at the back. This is a bit difficult with luggage when exiting but the bell hops are happy to help.
