This boutique hotel is located in the heart of the musician’s quarter of Nice, 3117 feet from the famous Promenade des Anglais. Nice Excelsior Center ville by HappyCulture offers a 24-hour reception, free WiFi and a quiet garden with summer bar. Guests can also enjoy the cozy reception area with a large selection of travel books. Pros +
- Great location and price. Friendly staff. Free coffee and water was a nice bonus. Bed was very comfortable!
- Room Amenities and Aesthetic
- The king bed was comfortable and the shower had good water pressure.
Cons -
- Sheets were clean but underside of mattress was soiled. Floor was dusty. Shower curtain had mildew smell. Room lights kept flickering and eventually one of them went out (other three were fine after that).
- Neighborhood was very run-down and hotel seemed like a 2-star in terms of decor. Definitely not a 4-star.
- There was mold all over the bathroom walls and ceilings.
