Just 325 ft from Santa Maria Novella Station, Hotel Arcadia is a 10-minute walk from Fortezza da Basso Convention Center. The hotel has a range of rooms that were completely renovated in 2013. With remote-control air conditioning and heating, rooms at the Arcadia Hotel also feature an LCD TV, a well-stocked minibar and a Carrara marble bathroom. The hotel is on the 2nd floor of a modern building with an elevator and features a 24-hour front desk and bar. Florence Cathedral is a 15-minute walk away and there are lots of buses that run from the station into the historic center.

- This was the worst hotel that I¿ve ever stayed in. There was mould on the ceilings & in the showers when I address this with the staff they spoke over me and were very rude. We did not want to stay there, but they refused to give us our $ back.
- Overall it is between good and very good
- The woman who checked us in and the open well lit room.
Cons -
- The bed was so hard, not to mention, breathing in mold, all night left their feeling very very sick and verbally abused.
- 1. The bathroom did not have any place for soap or shampoo. This should be an easy fix. 2. Towels too far from bathroom 3. The steps leading to the lift are not user friendly for wheelchair users and travellers with bags
- Mold in the shower and no hand soap. VERY thin walls.
