- Hotel is rather expensive for what it offers but this is an expensive town, so we thought it's expectable. It is situated in a quiet area, which is a 10 min walk from city center, very clean, serves an acceptable breakfast. We faced a serious odour problem in our room the last night of our stay. Receptionist told us that this is common in Brugge, and we actually sensed the same foul smell in other locations in town, too. After our complaints, the manager decided to move us to a more expensive room in Hotel Jacobs, at no extra costs. I appreciated that gesture a lot!!
- The man at Jacob Hotel was so nice and helpful, he showed us the cheapest restaurant and some amazing places to visit. Breakfast was also amazing. Comfortable bed, we had a nice and quiet sleep, as the hotel is 15 min away from the market square and all the restaurant. Those chairs in the room are so comfy.
- A good hotel to say for one night clean, comfortable, good location ,near city center.
Cons -
- Rather costly, hotel is old and decorated with strange antiques; our room had odour issues.
- Asiris lobby is a bit scary. Why that wedding dress? Any reason why is there? The sink was blocked and we have to brush our teeth into the shower.
