In the center of Bruges, just under half a mile from the central Market Square with the Belfry of Bruges and a 2-minute walk from 't Zand concert building, Hotel Portinari is surrounded by a range of restaurants. It features a terrace and an underground parking area. Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas. All of the air-conditioned rooms are equipped with a minibar and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Each unit has a private bathroom with a bathtub or a shower. Each morning, a breakfast buffet is served. After a busy day of sightseeing, guests can relax in the bar or lounge of the Portinari and enjoy a drink or a Belgian beer. The shopping district is a 10-minute walk from Hotel Portinari, as is Bruges Train Station. The seaside resorts of Knokke-Heist, Zeebrugge and Blankenberge are between 10 and 16 miles away. The historic town of Ghent is reachable in 35 minutes.

- This hotel was in a wonderful location! It was also very quiet and relaxing.

- Location great. Breakfast was wonderful. Bed very comfortable!
Cons -
- The only thing that we did not like is that the shower is not private. There is no door or curtain to provide privacy.
- The deal breaker: the bathroom (see below). ( if one dont mind that and the price is 3 STARS competitive- so its a good value). Its a 3 starts , 4 stars wannabe. The bathroom has no door and the other wall is glass (with a screen) - into the bedr
- The card holder was broken, so we had no light when we returned late night. (No staff working) Outlets worked, so borrowed a lamp from the lobby!
