The DoubleTree by Hilton is a classic hotel, loved for years by visitors to Newcastle. Located adjacent to Newcastle International Airport, it provides the perfect base for trips away, but it’s equally ideal for exploring the vibrant city center. Fratello’s restaurant serves authentic Italian cuisine, with pasta, thin crust pizza and perfectly cooked meat and fish dishes on the menu. - 3 minutes walk from the airport
- It was just a 3 minute walk to the airport! The staff were very friendly. Our room was large and clean and the bed was so soft. The bathroom is great with a rain can shower over top. You even get a refrigerator. The gym was nice too and empty on a Sunday.
Cons -
- I wish there was an outlet on both sides of the bed.

- Like all hotels i have stayed in , king beds need king size pillows, not little fat small ones.
