Refurbished in 2015, the award-winning Toby Carvery Exeter M5 J30 by Innkeeper's Collection is just 5 minutes’ drive from junction 30 on the M5 motorway, with free private parking and free WiFi in public areas. A traditional English menu and selection of ales are available throughout the day, The carvery menu offers a choice of meats, alongside an all-you-can-eat vegetable buffet. The lodge-style rooms feature a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The en-suite shower rooms have complimentary toiletries. Home to Exeter Cathedral, central Exeter is just 3 miles from Innkeeper's Lodge Exeter. The hotel is within 15 minutes’ walk of a Park and Ride bus service and Digby and Sowton Railway Station, both of which provide direct links into the historic city center.

Pros +
- Ideal location for hospital appointment. Facilities were good and good value. Having the carvery attached was a bonus.
- The room was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. The shower and bathroom facilities are clean and function properly.
Cons -
- Everything fine.
- The restaurant was extremely disappointing with a limited availability of poorly presented food. I had booked a table for 7:30 pm. The staff told me the poor choice was due to the fact that the restaurant closes at 9:30 pm. At night I found it hard to sleep because of the amount of noise which carried on until about 4 in the morning. I cant say if the noise was caused by staff or other guests.
