Made of 2 Victorian houses built around 1900, Ashley Hotel offers full English breakfasts, free Wi-Fi and free parking, a 20-minute walk from Cambridge town center. Each room has an private bathroom with a bath, a shower or both. They also come with tea/coffee making facilities, TV, and a direct dial telephone with an automatic wake up alarm facility. A 10-minute walk to the River Cam and the Cambridge University Boat Houses, Ashley Hotel has 12 free parking spaces.

Pros +
- Not a bad location and a nice walk along the river to the town centre. Good amount of free parking is also a bonus. And the man who checked me in was very friendly.
- Location was great, good breakfast and staff where friendly
- Staff very friendly and helpful , good English breakfast
Cons -
- Very damp and dark room. Moisture running down from the walls when we took a shower. Unheated (while the outside temperature was 1 degree at night). Black mold on the bedroom walls. Bugs. No staff. No cleaning. Terrible value at nearly GPB ---night.
- The room was not well cleaned, plenty of cobwebs and a clump of hair in the sink plug hole was very unpleasant. Shower cubicle door didn't shut. TV didn't work. Doesn't look like it's been decorated since the 80s
- We stayed in room 8 which was a nice spacious room, however the toilet didn¿t flush, we informed the reception, unfortunately we only stayed one night so didn¿t see if it was fixed or not
