Set on the banks of the River Avon, Old Mill Hotel & Lodge has lovely gardens and stunning views over the countryside surrounding Bath. The Old Mill Hotel housed a flour mill until 1907 and since then it has been developed into a hotel with a bar and lounge. The Old Mill Lodge is an annex building located on the same site just next door to the main hotel building. The rooms offer free tea and coffee facilities and quality toiletries. Guests can also enjoy a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and an ISDN telephone link.

Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. If you require an invoice when booking a prepaid rate, write this and your company details in the Special Requests box. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A damage deposit of GBP 30 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. Due to the structure of the building, the Old Mill Hotel does not have a elevator. Wheelchair access is only available in the Rolling Mill restaurant. Parking is subject to availability and cannot be reserved. For advance purchase reservations, the credit card used for the reservation needs to be shown upon arrival. If this is not possible, a third party authorization form, copy of ID and copy of the credit card needs to be sent to the property prior to arrival. In the event of an early departure, the property will charge you the full amount for your stay.

- We weren't in the hotel but in an annexe accessed by a metal fire escape, so a bit disappointed and the breakfast was do it yourself continental , we have paid less and received much better service, facilities and a cooked breakfast . Finally we had to pay 10 to park .It did the job for one night but not a luxury .
- Location, friendly and professional staff, clean and cosy. Great value for money. Placed very close to Little Solsbury Hill for Peter Gabriel fans out there.
Cons -
- Tight car park and also tricky entry into the car park if you're approaching from the Toll Bridge side during rush hours.
