Set just off Barcelona’s famous Las Ramblas, 3 minutes’ walk from central Plaza Catalunya, Catalonia Ramblas 4* Sup features a seasonal outdoor pool with a south-facing terrace, a poolside snack bar and a chill-out area. Housed in a modernist building, all bright and spacious rooms come with a flat-screen satellite smart TV equipped with Chromecast App, free WiFi and tea and coffee facilities. Some have a private terrace with a private pool. Room service is available. The spa at Catalonia Ramblas 4* Sup features a relaxation area. It includes a sauna, a steam bath and a hot tub. Massage and beauty treatments are also available. The hotel’s restaurant, Pelai Restaurant, offers Catalan market cuisine. Dishes cooked on a coal stove are available at the Pelai terrace, a rooftop terrace with a chill-out area with panoramic city views. A buffet breakfast is offered every morning and, on weekends, it is available until 11:00. In the summer months, the terrace is open until 00:00 and has a summer menu, as well as cocktails and milkshakes.

Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Location was the best part but the superior room we had was also great! The bed was super comfortable and I appreciated the amenities of having a kettle and coffee packets. Our rooms were ready when we arrived.

Clean rooms , nice people at the hotel, great location walking distance to all shops and food

Cons -

Some front reception staff members were more accommodating than others for example we asked what time the train station opened, they told us 5 am but it did not open until 5:30 almost 6 am at the gates nearest to the hotel. It was cold and there were bums
The beds would move easily. The room needed more plugs for devices. Didnt have enough wall plugs or usb ports. One of the elevators was not working so waiting for the other took too long - used stairs.

Great location

Wi-Fi in the rooms never exceeded 2 mbps, not enough to download any websites or emails. They moved my room, but same issue. Eventually, they admitted that many guests complained. Wi-Fi was fine in the lobby.
