This hotel offers comfortable and convenient accommodations in the heart of Frankfurt’s Bahnhofsviertel. The main railway station and an underground station can be found just 820 feet away. As a guest at the Townhouse Hotel, you will enjoy an undisturbed night’s sleep in tastefully furnished rooms, as well as a cozy bar area and an excellent breakfast buffet. The helpful hotel staff will be ready to help you with sightseeing tips and business information. Frankfurt’s famous sights can be reached within minutes using the city’s efficient public transport system. Many attractions are accessible on foot, such as the Städel (art museum), which is just 1969 feet away. The Townhouse Hotel is an ideal base for business travelers. Pros +
- The hotel is centrally located making it convenient to walk to many tourist locations and transportation. Room and bathroom were clean and the breakfast had a variety of delicious and healthy options. I would definitely stay here again.
- Quiet, boutique hotel close to the main train station. Outstanding, service-oriented staff. Great breakfast in a beautiful dining room that felt like a home away from home.
- Attractive (if small) room; excellent staff. Walking distance to the Opera, easy walking distance to the train station.
Cons -
- Rooms were cozy so if you need a lot of space, this may not be the place for you. There is no a/c in the room. We did leave the window open to get some fresh air and it did get a tad noisy due to being centrally located.
- Frosted, translucent glass between shower and bedroom. While the room was small it was quite efficient, I realize that features I've come to expect (like a desk with an office-style task chair) are wholly unnecessary.
- The neighborhood was fine for us but might be a little colorful for someone else, being so close to the train station.
