The Royal Scots Club features grand country-house charm, a cozy club atmosphere and free Wi-Fi in central Edinburgh. In the peaceful New Town district, there is a hotel elevator with access to all floors. The Royal Scots Club has individually designed, traditional rooms with toiletries and plenty of facilities, and some have views of the rooftops to Fife. The Club has a quiet yet friendly atmosphere, a bar and a smart dining room overlooking Queen Street Gardens. Local restaurants and bars are a 5-minute walk away. The Scottish National Portrait Gallery and National Gallery of Modern Art are both just a 10-minute walk away. Shops at the St. James Centre are half a mile away.

- Lots of old world charm, newly renovated bathroom, nice linens, good breakfast, quiet location, super wonderful front desk supervisor 
- Great character, breakfast and location.
- A beautiful room in a gorgeous town house in Edinburgh New Town, picture fairytale perfect!
Cons -
- No air conditioning and little, inefficient fan that barely stirred the air (it was in the high 50s and we had the windows open 24-7, but very little cool air came in-must be HOT in the summer.
- Parking is a little difficult.
