Pros +
- The staff member receiving me was very friendly as she showed me the room. The room was functional, but exceptionally clean. The big bathtub is an extra. Hospitality tray very generous in quantities of coffee and sugar sachets. Good location for catching the 747 bus to EDI airport early in the morning, it's only a 15-min walk.
Cons -
- Though I knew I booked a room in a pub where they have disco nights on Saturdays, I would have loved the hotel side of the business to reflect on this by providing earplugs. Unfortunately this wasn't the case. I still had a good sleep, I wished I have had a great one. The warm water tap on the bathroom sink was very wobbly. I would have loved to find sweeteners on the otherwise very generous hospitality tray.
