On Princes Street, opposite the Scott Monument and National Gallery, Mount Royal Hotel Edinburgh by The Unlimited Collection has an excellent location, a friendly atmosphere and views of Edinburgh Castle. There is free high-speed WiFi throughout. Each room has a flat-screen TV and some have views of Edinburgh Castle and Princes Street Gardens. The dining room has stunning views and 24-hour room service. Princes Mall shops and the Royal Mile, with its theaters and nightlife, are a short walk from Mount Royal Hotel Edinburgh by The Unlimited Collection.

- Location great, beds comfortable, bathroom was large.
- Superior room was large and the balcony overlooking the park with the castle in the distance and overall location was worth it! Comfy bed. Great breakfast. Danillo at the front desk was AMAZING - bag lost and he did everything he could do help.
Cons -
- No air condition wi fi goes out no airport shuttle
- WiFi was hit or miss every day we were there and we couldn't make local calls from our room.
