In Dublin’s Ballsbridge district, Morehampton Townhouse is 25 minutes' walk from St Stephen's Green. It offers free parking and rooms with original Georgian shutters and en-suite shower rooms. Spacious rooms all have large, opening Georgian windows. They also include TVs, free WiFi, hairdryers and tea/coffee making facilities. Cooked Irish and continental breakfasts, featuring homemade breads, are available. Donnybrook Fair gourmet food store and restaurant is next to Morehampton. There is a frequent bus service from outside the Townhouse which runs to the city center, Dublin Airport and University College Dublin. - Small quiet hotel located outside of the crazy that is downtown Dublin. Great access to busses to get anywhere you need
- Very helpful and friendly staff.
- The lady who helped at. breakfast - self service
Cons -
- My room was above the front door so I heard all the coming and going. But it was pretty minor.
- I liked nothing about this hotel. I paid EUR300 per night for a room with threadbare carpet & a shower from the 60s. There are NO PUBLIC ROOMS AT ALL & nowhere to sit/read except your miserable bedroom.
