- It was great! Great location! Just wish for basic toiletries (more toilet paper, bath soup and shampoo), cleaned coffee maker and cleaned hot water kettle.
- The hosts were very helpful and even made us something to eat because of our very late arrival due to a flight delay. The location is ideal for this price range in Amsterdam.
- Lovely location in a cool neighbourhood. Great to have a balcony and I enjoyed the snacks left for me. Place was clean and they let me check in early. The girl who met me there to give me the key was really friendly and helped me get my bag up the stairs.
Cons -
- The automated communication after booking is very confusing and (fortunately) does not reflect reality. The standard text keeps reappearing at irregular intervals (even when checking out) and warns that after 8 p.m., you can only check in by special arrangement and for an extra charge. This led me to notify the hosts about our flight delay every half hour because I was worried about our status and whether we would be able to check in. When we arrived, we realised that the hosts live in the house... All unnecessary.
- I could hear everything from adjoining rooms/apartments and the courtyard, even footsteps and quiet conversations. The place to hang your clothes and the mirror in the bathroom are only useful if youre over 6 foot tall (which I am not)
