The 4-star Ramada by Wyndham Amsterdam Airport Schiphol features spacious accommodations with free WiFi. The 24/7 Kukimi Lobby Shop offers a variety of snacks, sandwiches, salads, hot meals and drinks which can be consumed either in the room or in the lobby. Each hotel room at Ramada Amsterdam Airport Schiphol offers a small seating corner, coffee and tea facilities and satellite TV. The private bathroom comes with free toiletries. The hotel has a wellness area including an indoor pool and sauna for you to relax in. Adjacent to the hotel is a large health club where guests can make use of the fitness facilities, tennis courts and squash facilities for an admission fee. Restaurants La bouche and Q Beach are within walking distance of the hotel. Bikes are available for rent for a short ride into Amsterdam within 20 minutes. Schiphol Airport is 3.1 mi away by taxi from Ramada Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.Various trains leaving from the airport give easy access to Amsterdam center in 30 minutes and other business districts. Cons -
- This is NOT 4-star. I've stayed in better Holiday Inn Express. It's next to the airport, but it was 40 euro cab ride and 6 euro each for the shuttle. No in room fridge. King room was 2 twins pushed together.
- The airport shuttle was only free FROM the airport TO the hotel, not back. There are no buses in walking distance, so if you wanted to go into Amsterdam (or ANYWHERE) you had to pay 6 Euro per person to leave the hotel. INCONVENIENT and EXPENSIVE.
- The heat did not work in the room they had to bring a portable heater instead of just changing us rooms
