Hotel Carlton Capri is a 5-minute walk from Santa Lucia Station. You are close to the Grand Canal where you can catch a Vaporetto (water bus) to Saint Mark's Square. The friendly staff will instantly make you feel at home. The Carlton Capri has a great location in Venice, with Rialto Bridge around 15 minutes away on foot. Guest rooms come with a TV and air conditioning. Your day begins with a large breakfast buffet, which includes characteristic Venetian desserts. The hotel features a 24-hour reception, and a TV lounge.

- The hotel is a 6 min walk from the Venice train station, although be prepared to carry your bag(s) over a bridge that has stairs on both sides. The hotel was clean and while the room was typical European in side it was spacious enough for two people.
- The owner is extremely welcoming and accommodating. The hotel is in a great location, walkable to all the main sites.

- There was nothing that we did not like.
- Room had mosquito problem. No view. Windows were hopper type and opened slightly.
- Asked for a quiet room; was put into a room that had some sort of compressor or machine next to it, that sounded like cats being put through a press. Was moved to a quiet room; woken up at 4 am by people "vigorously moving" around upstairs. Thin floors.
