Pros +
- Restaurant and staff at the restaurant were good
- If you are taking the ferry from St. Barbe this is certainly the place to stay. It is a short walk to the ferry dock. The room was clean and comfortable. You could get breakfast or just grab on the boat. No problem with our stay.
- Close to Blanc Sablon Ferry, spacious room, comfortable bed, clean bathroom
Cons -
- Hotel clerk not friendly , room must have had a flood, as the floor was curled up could not walk in your stocking feet, the bathroom shower head to high, could not adjust water temp properly, the sink was in another room, the towels were old and worn out
- Expensive. The older, dated furnishings.
- I would have preferred to have breakfast included with the room! Just make it part of the room charge!

What I was most impressed with was the frond desk day person that checked me in! She was so very helpful! What I was also very impressed with was the cleanliness and comfort of the room.

Very convenient location to catch the ferry the next day. Room was good, comfortable bed. We ate dinner and breakfast at the attached restaurant. Very good food and prices.
no breakfast, perfect rest stay and stop for boarding ferry boat to Labrador. food good, tremendous wait staff, caring and competent.
no complaints
Couldn't figure out breakfast, but the proximity to ferry, gas and convenience, walking trails made this a great base to explore the GNP from.Quiet at night, easy parking
Menu and dining hours not clearly posted. One room appeared to have been set up for self-serve continental breakfast, but that door was locked both mornings.
According to the Hotel, Booking.com did not send the right reservation. Therefore, we ended up in a tiny Q room instead of the Suite we booked. However, Victoria at the desk was V helpful in getting laundry done, Wilhelmena the Owner? compted breakfast and Vicki the waitress was VG!
Room V smal for 2 people
Right brside ferry, clean accommodation.
Hair dryer did not work.
Proximity to the ferry terminal. The restaurant open past 6 for supper.
Rooms are very small and outdated. Restaurant does not open 10 for breakfast. Staff upon both check-in and check-out not overly friendly.
Clean, located beside the ferry and pet friendly.
It was close to the Ferry Terminal.
The staff, including restaurant staff, know you're stuck here if you want to get on the early ferry. (Strict 1 hour before check in rule is definitely enforced!)Staff wouldn't answer my email back in June trying to book a room for late August. No answer three separate times calling. Finally used Booking.com to get a room. I called about breakfast last week; the man said to buy it on the ferry and hung up.On checking in, the woman behind the glass shield (why?) only said one word to me and that was after she shoved a piece of paper at me and a pen. I asked if I was to fill it out. She said yes. That was it. Why I needed to give her all of my information was confusing, considering the motel had run my credit card THREE days before I arrived. The room was very dark. No A/C but there was a floor fan. Good thing it had cooled off and wildfire smoke had abated. The mattress was very worn and I could feel the springs poking through the mattress protector, the mattress pad and the sheet. There was a pump dispenser of foaming hand soap by the sink and a little tube of shampoo on the bath mat. The towels and mat were quite thin. No soap for the shower. The shower head was not adjustable and sprayed water out the back of the shower. When I wiped up the water, the towel was brown with dirt. Balcony was worn and sagging and too small to use. See picture.
Check-in & checkout were easy, room was clean & comfortable, food was good. Location was excellent!
Restaurant didn't open until 9 am
Clean, comfortable and perfect location for ferry
NA
Right next to ferry terminal & gas station
Not much in the town. Electricity was off when we arrived so no restaurant. Cold plate was offered
It was clean and easy to find. The staff in the dining room were very good.
The WiFi was not very good. The cleaning staff had a very loud diagreent outside our room at around 7:00 am and when we mentioned it to the front desk they barely acknowledged the complaint and did not offer an apology.
Spacious room and bathroom. Onsite restaurant. Fast check-in and check-out. Great location.
Poor wifi, dated decor, squeaky floors and poor wifi in an area with poor internet signal.
Poor Accomodations
The cabin was not ready when we got there, which was after our check in time. The listing to book was deceiving, The outside looked renovated, and no pictures of the inside were shown. It absolutely needed to be updated. The very least they could have done was to put new mattresses and pillows. The bedding was absolutely terrible. After looking for a good nights sleep we were awake all night and continued our drive to St Anthony’s without a good nights rest
Clean room. Restaurant food was good, portions were good and price was good.
Good for an overnight stay but not much to do in the area.
The room was clean
We were given the key and sent to our room, when we opened the door, the curtains were closed and an unclothed man was sleeping. We returned to the desk where they explained a mistake had been made, we should be in the room next door. Once settled we found the unit to be clean but; shower water temperature varied widely, going from too hot to full cold, the bed was extra soft and uncomfortable for to the two of us, we had been told at check in that the restaurant opened at 7am. In the morning we found that it opened only at 0900 and we could not wait. In general, the staff (other than housekeepers) did not seem to know what they were doing.
