ItÂ¿s location was the draw but the staff certainly made the experience pleasurable. The room was comfortable but could use upgrades. Our room was small at our second visit.

The ice machine was broken but the waitress did get me ice.
We found the staff very unfriendly. We heard so many wonderful things about the people of NL, but just getting off the ferry, they barely said a word and NO smiles (even though I tried cracking a joke.) The bathroom sink was clogged, fridge not turned on.

This is a convenient hotel to go to once getting off the ferry.
