Nice view from terrace. Restaurant was good.Staff allowed us to have a drink on terrace after kitchen closed.
Boxed breakfast was decent but used plastic containers. Water in room was non-potable.
Very nice but avoid room 10 which is on ground floor facing parking lot and very close to the main road of the island. It can be quite noisy with traffic. The Inn has thermal heating and rooms can be quite cold but Inn provided heaters.

We liked everything about this place. Great, comfy room. Loved the quaint decore. Restaurant was excellent, good food, good service.
There wasn't anything we did not like.
It was a nice quiet location.
To provide breakfast for people traveling that have to leave before 8:00 which was the time we were told it would be available.
For me there were too many carbs and not enough protein and fruit. Location was ok.
I didn’t like eating my breakfast out of a plastic container. I had no choice of its contents
Quality of food was good. Eating breakfast in our room very disappointing. Seating restrictions and access to mountain and river views from the deck were truly disappointing.
The experience at Auberge Au Poste de Traite was disappointing at best. Very clean, the room was tiny and cramped. So small that we had to leave our suitcases in the car. The breakfast was boxed in three plastic containers with the suggestion that hotel residents eat breakfast in their room. The water was impotable. The restaurant in the building was owned by a different proprietor and was only open for dinner. Use of the tables & chairs in the restaurant were understandably off-limits throughout the day except for those having dinner. The deck which overlooked the river and the mountains was partially controlled by the restaurant and off limits for non-customers (understandable). But the portion of the deck controlled by the hotel was inexplicably reserved for only those who rented one of the 3 suites. The 3 deck tables and more than 20 chairs for non-suite renters were off-limits according to restaurant employees on duty. On-premise “management” while we were there consisted of only restaurant employees. There were so many space and seating restrictions that we never felt truly welcomed. The demarkation line between restaurant and hotel was sharp and obvious. Poste du Traite is incongruously rated 3 stars. Although clean and pleasant, overnight guests should be knowledgable of its shortcomings. Be certain that this auberge is what you want or be disappointed.
David was an exceptionally friendly staff member.
Our room faced the road, which could be noisy at times because of the traffic.
The breakfast had plenty of food for 2 people and the location was easy to find. Supply of quips, face wipes, even floss picks. What a bonus. Next time I would rent a room located on the other side of the building since the traffic was right in front of are door and we are not use to the noise.
Location of the room. Not alot of plug ins for phone beside the bed
Very clean and quiet .
Our room faded the river and not the busy road.
The location suited our needs. Super super clean. Great cleaner.
The lack of staff was uncomfortable. We arrived back late and the place was closed. Thankfully our room key worked to unlock the inn. The breakfast is very complete but hardly a buffet as advertised. There isn’t anywhere to relax and eat other than the room. I would not bring kids here as the inn isn’t soundproof. We were on the road side and it was noisy. Checkout consisted of leaving our key on the counter and walking out. Unsettling to have this lack of a personal touch at a bed and breakfast.
Excellent meals. We tried the seafood plate for 2. Congratulated the cooks personally.
Had to go back home.
Tasty breakfast, comfortable beds, restaurant with beautiful view on bottom floor.
Well located, a bit pricey but normal in high season. Everything was functional.
We were served breakfast in a plastic container as there was shortage of staff.
The restaurant and the view. The staff was great. I liked our location too.
Our room was ice cold, terrible, and had way too many pillows on the bed. I think the price was high. You need a PHD to use the TV, not user friendly. The breakfast was interesting and very good but I’d prefer eating at a table in the restaurant.
Our stay here was absolutely wonderful... Exceptional room with a wonderful view and a delicious meal and the restaurant that evening
The room itself was pleasant with a comfortable queen-size bed and nicely decorated. The shower had plenty of hot water. We liked the private terrace where we ate the prepackaged breakfast both mornings. (Note: you are not allowed to eat in the dining room of the hotel and the restaurant is not open for breakfast. ) At check-in, no one was at the reception desk, but a staffer from the restaurant eventually came out to the reception area to check us in and was very pleasant. The view from the restaurant is lovely, especially at sunset. The waiter was charming.
On an island known for its gourmet food items, including beautiful fresh berries, the prepackaged breakfast using multiple plastic containers was a huge disappointment. Yes, there was a variety of food but it was all grocery store quality and not particularly fresh. The one strawberry and three blueberries in my plastic cup were not fresh and oozing liquid. The pastries seemed days old and were dry and unappetizing. You are allowed one Keurig coffee pod per person, per night, and must pay $1.50 for each additional pod. However, we were not given any for the second day. The breakfast does not resemble the photos on the Booking.com listing in the least. Our room was not cleaned during our 2-night stay. The knob on the closet was falling off and needed repair. At no time while we were there was there someone at the reception desk. The hotel seemed understaffed. The cooling and or heating does not have individual controls in each room. We were uncomfortably cool in our room. I really wanted to like this hotel but we would not likely return.
Stephanie texted us before we checked in and asked us about our dinner and breakfast preferences. Breakfast was prepared in advanced and placed in our room. It was high quality and delicious. Room was clean and well decorated! Everything worked just fine. Highly recommend.
