Felt like this was the first person using this room since last summer Felt damp carpets were filthy. We had to turn heat on and the fridge which was full or water an poured out The couch looked like they got it off the side of the road peeling wallpaper

It was clean .

The only complaint I have is the hair left in the tub drain as it did not drain properly.

Had to be out 10am smoking area across parking lot mean while you had a back door with a picnic table Plus front light on all night by the door with bugs flying around the light every time you open the door bugs will be in the room¿¿

Cheap, on the road, nice staff, lovely law enforcement in the area.

Its a bit small and very dated, but the price was right. Awesome bed, really good sleep all in all.

The room was not as clean as I expect; there were hairs on bathroom floor and a banana peel in the waste bin. Room could use a significant refreshing; there were holes in the window screens, chips in the furniture, no USB port to charge phone

The motel room was nice and big and clean. We were happy the air conditioner was on when we came. The mattress on the bed was excellent, and the couch was comfortable. We liked the complimentary coffee too. :) And we always love a clean bathroom!

It would have been nice to have stronger lighting in the room, for reading for example, or ironing. Also, I noticed that the make-up mirror in the bathroom was loose from the wall.

The room was so bad and non-refundable. The property manager was nice enough to make an exception and we left to go stay somewhere else.

The room was filthy. We wouldn't take our shows off or shower there. The AC was iced over and leaking, hair in the corners of the bathroom floor, mold in the tub, water damage on the ceilings etc...

The rooms and the place itself are old. BUT - there are super clean. I love the fact that they provide a special towel for riders/bikers. ITS AWESOME. The facilities are good, and the location is perfect: close to the gas station, within walking distance of the Metro.To Note: I got hurt while riding and I stayed in bed for 2 days straight. I HIGHLY recommend this motel.

There are no actual things to list. The place is old, as I have mentioned, but that is not something that can be done. In any case, I will visit them again next year.

Cleanliness - found a dirty towel n exchanged before starting the stay. No daily cleaning. Disappointed for the price.

The motel is in a great location to access the ATV Trails, but that's about it.

I had previously stayed here before the change in ownership and had a great experience. The rooms were clean, and staff were friendly. Unfortunately, under the new ownership, the property has significantly declined, no maintenance or upkeep has been done, and the photos online are not accurate. Upon arrival, the room was noticeably unclean. While I wasn’t expecting luxury, I did expect basic cleanliness. There was very little toilet paper in the bathroom, and when we asked for more, the staff were rude and dismissive, stating that rooms are cleaned every second day. We did eventually get another roll, but the interaction made us uncomfortable. The room had many cleanliness issues, corners were dirty and filled with spider webs, behind furniture was dirty, the tub had visible mold, under the bed was filthy, ceiling corners had cobwebs, and the electrical outlets were overloaded.At 9:30 AM, the door closed behind us, locking us out, I went to the office and rang the doorbell as instructed by the note on the door, the owner eventually answered, clearly just waking up, as they live on-site. He handed me a spare key from the drop box and told me to return it when done. No ID was requested, I found this very unprofessional and concerning from a security standpoint.The grounds are neglected, and the designated smoking area was especially unpleasant, dirty and littered. It added to the overall impression that guest comfort and cleanliness are not priorities here.We paid $426 for 3 nights, given the condition of the room, this price felt excessive. We considered leaving, but all other accommodations in the area were fully booked, and requesting a refund through the online booking platform was not straightforward.It’s unfortunate because the location is ideal for motorcycle, ATV, and snowmobile enthusiasts exploring Barry’s Bay. With proper care and management, this could be a great place to stay again. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for accommodations in the area

The location was good for our trip. The rooms were clean, but dated. Parking was outside our door. Nice outdoor seating area behind the hotel.

Nothing, we didn’t end up staying even though the room was paid for. I would really like someone to contact me regarding this hotel.

The room was not anything like the pictures when you book. The window was broken, the walls were peeling, it was dirty, the bathroom had mold and it also smelt like mold. The front desk person was very rude to us also when we said we would not be staying due to the disgusting stat of the room.

Location was excellent. Can walk to Barry's Bay downtown and to Ashgrove Inn for breakfast, and to lake and beach. Room had all basic amenities - fridge, table and chairs, bathroom with towels and supplies. Beds were comfortable.

Just the location

The rundown room, the comforter smelled like vomit, there were stains on the sheets and I booked a queen room but was given a double. I took my loss with that as I was in a time crunch to get somewhere upon check in and thought it would be ok. We didn’t sleep at all.

It was close to town. The owners were nice.

The room was dusty, the window was cracked/broken, our washroom was very dated, floor was dirty and it was moldy. You could only smoke in one designated area, that was completely full of guests. Not a big enough area and ashtrays were always full never cleaned. We’ve stayed at several motels and most have outdoor tables and chairs with ashtrays on every table at each room, this allows guests to spend time outside with eat other not having to be cramped up in a small area with other people.

Updated paint and furniture. Everything worked. Was very clean.

Could consider removing the carpet and updating the towels.

We stayed in Room#18 - The room was very dirty and smelled very strongly like pee from the moment we entered. Cobwebs and spiders in multiple corners. Very dusty behind nightstand and the outside of the bathroom sink was dirty. The water in the shower stopped multiple times during my shower and I had to wait several minutes to restart it. The TV remote was sticky and there was mold all along the tub where the caulking is. Absolutely awful stay.

will never recommend the place to anyone.

Because the room was so small for 2 adults we did not spend the night and preferred to loose my money and drove home.
