Located on Pigeon Mountain, this resort features a pool and indoor/outdoor hot tubs. A fireplace and a balcony with mountain views are offered in cottages. Lake Louise is 1 hour’s drive away. A lounge offers cable TV and a sofa in cottages at Banff Gate Mountain Resort. A kitchen, BBQ facilities and 2 bathrooms are provided for convenience. Wooden décor is featured throughout the cottages. A heated indoor pool and a games room offer indoor recreation at Banff Gate Resort. Guests can hike around the spacious property. Guest launderette are provided on site. Canmore city center is located 10 minutes’ drive away. Nakiska ski mountain is 29 mi from Banff Gate Mountain Resort.

- The scenery is amazing quiet place easy access to Canmore and Banf great location
- Great location, fantastic views
Cons -
- Rooms are old and in desperate need of updating. For the price we paid, this is unacceptable. I understand the location is the main selling point, but the rooms need updating. Period.
- Internet is slow
- Rooms were clean but looking a bit dated
