Jade City Motel

It fitted our location needs perfectly…and the Jade business and staff were fun and friendly

This is a rare spot to stay on the Cassiar. The room was small but comfortable, the shared washroom was feet away. The continental breakfast was adequate. It was a welcome sight after motorcycling all day.

Great room in the middle of nowhere. It’s quite basic - a small room with a bed and the washroom a few doors down.

The fact that there is a shared bathroom is NOT for everyone. I didn't mind it as there were not many of us. The bathroom, kitchen and rooms were very clean and well kept. Remind patrons to turn the fan on when using the shower.The muffins were a little bit on the dry side but the oatmeal was excellent. I can't stand the use of the darned Kureg cups, they're a waste to us all. There are other options that are much more environmentally friendly. Harder to obtain, no doubt, but coffee keeps well in freezer.One of the quietest night sleep I have had in some time. I did not want to get out of bed.

it was hard to find the directions at night. Coming in any time after 9pm and I landed up across the street. I had no idea where I was and no idea which of the buildings was the one with "the doorbell". I did find it eventually.

The room was small, but comfortable. Shared bathroom with 3 other rooms. Gave us breakfast, 2 boiled eggs, fruit cup, a bagel, coffee and orange juice.

The host was excellent! The room was small but I knew that before arriving and it was just perfect for me and my dog. The bed was so comfortable and I didn’t want to leave, it’s all pet friendly, even the store! It was such a great experience. I would definitely stay there again.

Rooms way too small not even room for a suitcase no bathroom having to go outside with a key to shared washroom

Very small room, and the bathroom was not attached. It was not mentioned in the listing that you would be sharing a bathroom with the other guests.

Location

North country accommodations are always different because of the location. But we paid way too much for the accommodations that we received. You would think for $224 American dollars you would get your own bathroom.

Breakfast was fine ... not extraordinary, but fine. Frankly, given the facilities, it was about as good as one could expect.

I didn't fully anticipate how "rustic" the overall property would be, or that there would be a common bathroom & kitchen/lounge for several other guests. But it was clean and well enough appointed. The DVD player wouldn't work, which was too bad.

Comfortable and location is good as far considering it’s on Cassiar Highway.

Sink was plugged up at that time during our stay but it’s not a big deal.

Clean and cozy! The bedding was my favorite! For being in the middle of nowhere, it was comfortable and everything I needed. Staff was super nice as well!

It was super cutely decorated and convenient location! Shared bathroom was nice! Breakfast had coffee and snacks to start the day!

Paper thin walls.(we heard our neighbors talking till 10am and slamming doors and talking at 0530am) The doors were off kilter so that most doors had to almost slam in order to close and the seals had bigger cracks for bugs to come in. Since the bathroom was shared, the men didn’t seem to care about left urine and upright seat. No laundry services.
