    Pros +

    • The outside surroundings were nice if a bit unkempt. The internet connectivity and speed were better than a lot of motels. This rural motel is in the very nice location of Christina Lake.
    • So very private and close to the lake
    • Loved the community, very friendly people, everyone out walking dogs. Easy walk to ice cream, the most amazing coffee shop with food items and the beautiful lake!

    Cons -

    • It seems to be very old with very poor quality remodeling workmanship. The floor was in very bad shape and areas of the room needed paint where previous occupants had damaged walls.Very few dishes,Bathroom was too small and bed was hard like plywood.
    • Quite unclean, had a very strange odor upon entering we had to open all windows. Bathroom facility was dirty and there were cobwebs in every corner. I wouldn’t stay here again. As well, everyone there was just quite unfriendly? Felt a bit off during our stay.

Location was a cute spot in town. Not far from a little beach spot, and also not far from a nice cafe on the main hwy.

Quite unclean, had a very strange odor upon entering we had to open all windows. Bathroom facility was dirty and there were cobwebs in every corner. I wouldn’t stay here again. As well, everyone there was just quite unfriendly? Felt a bit off during our stay.

It was small but they had thought of everything especially for someone travelling for work as it had a good kitchen area with all you needed was secluded quiet and easy to access with a nice balcony and bbq

The only small downside was it was too small fir an armchair but honestly i sit on the bed anyway and there was a dining table and chairs

Quiet. Staff were friendly and made sure I had everything I needed.

Quiet area with cute room and everything we needed for a get away. New owners are a young family so lots of toys and trampoline available. Short walk to the beach and lake access, coffee and food truck.

    Cozy place, quiet, clean

No kitchen facilities to heat up food. Looked like this was part of the booking based on pictures but my room didn’t have that. Not a big deal, just my observation.

Lovely accommodations in the trees near the lake. Easy contactless check-in, accessible entry for my Dad who's almost 80. We had two suites; one had a kitchen to my surprise! Wish we had longer to explore the area but were just passing through on our drive across Canada. Very Quiet likely because it's off season. Thanks for the hospitality!

Very clean, cozy and affordable. Excellent service.

Very cozy and quiet room. Well maintained. Great location. Friendly hosts.

The floor was extremely cold (uninsulated?) making the lower half of the room uncomfortably cold. The main heating unit wasn't enough to keep the room comfortably warm so the wall heater had to be on all the time. Floor insulation would help for winter stays.

Very fast and convenient. The owner just provided the code and viola. We were just in and out. Everything was provided in the room. Ready and clean. Will def come back

The ad said something about a jacuzzi but found out when we got there it was part of the cabin rental not the regular rooms. Otherwise everything was great. Will be back in the summer. Cheers

Background view was not what I was expected

the convenience to the golf course

    1. the lights in room not being able to turn on/off from the door, had to fiddle with the standing lamp2. Also the bathroom window had no privacy shade,

No problems with check in or out with booking.com. Room had everything I needed for my stay. Very quiet being away from main highway.

Found the shower a little small.
