This resort is 2.5 mi from downtown Campbell River and adjacent to April Point Resort and Spa. A cable TV and seating area are furnished in every room at the Painter’s Lodge. All rooms include a coffee maker and view of the garden or ocean. Legend’s Dining Room at Painter’s Lodge serves gourmet cuisine using local produce and specializes in seafood. Tyee Pub offers beer and wine in the evenings. Active guests will enjoy free access to the gym and on site tennis court at Painter’s Lodge Campbell River. Take a stroll in the garden and relax on the terrace. Whale watching is available. Sequoia Springs Golf Club and the Museum at Campbell River are both a 10-minute drive away.

- It has been a couple of years since I've been here and the place is really showing it's age. This is just a guess but it looks like new management has taken over and taken a step backwards when it comes to upkeep. Btw breakfast isn't included anymore.
- Front desk staff - not particularly welcoming and unavailable for long period.
- Dirty ceiling, hair on the counters
