Pros +

• It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Our room was large with an overhead fan and big bathroom with a walk in shower. Everything is nicely decorated. Our hostess/landlord Helen was welcoming and warm and had cold local beers and water in the mini fridge in our room waiting for us. She graciously gave us our own time in the shared kitchen and living room. She gave us pointers on local places to go and eat, which was very helpful because many do not have signs and just look like someones home and taught us how to navigate the bus system to go to neighboring cities. There was a balcony with an ocean view to eat at and constant breezes . so much better than air conditioning! Rudy John Beach was a 3minute walk away, very private, with warmest water and waves that can float you away. The people in the village are friendly and we didnt encounter any panhandlers or people trying to sell you things like other beach towns.
• Lovely spacious property with private bathroom, comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. Helen was a wonderful host and we felt right at home. Would thoroughly recommend
• We chose Laborie to start our tour of St Lucia as it was a short trip from the airport and we didn't want to travel too far after a long flight. What a great decision we made. Laborie is a working fishing village but with everything a tourist could need with places to eat, drink and buy basic groceries. The locals are amazingly friendly and helpful and we felt totally comfortable there. Palm view is a fantastic house to stay at.. Exceptional value for money. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. A 5 minute walk to a perfect beach. The owne,r Helen, couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating .She greeted us with cold beers and made us feel at home. She had loads of great advice and even helped organise our onward journey.
