The Tryst Beachfront Hotel

Pros +

• Location
• It was a really nice beachfront setup. Too bad 8 didnt stay long enough to enjoy it
• Perfect location and the music from the lgbtqia+ event. Most staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Cons -

• Room space, no parking
• The hotel does not have parking available for guests, even though it says on the website that it does. They wanted me to leave my car in a parking lot($30) which was like 5mins in car and a 10/15mins walk back to the hotel when their supposed parking was $20 for the entire day right by the hotel. I ended up not staying because of the parking issue, not safe to leave my car a mile away and have to walk in the middle of the night if I wanted to go somewhere. Shouldve update the website to warn their guests.
• Tiny rooms, like tiny for NYC. 2 full adults on a twin bed tiny. Older property, so a lot of things in the room are rusted. They had construction for longer than they had predicted during our stay with no apology. My guess is to prep for the event they had the weekend of our stay. The bar was shut down to guest not attending a charity drag brunch event and no tickets were sold on site. Housekeeping was behind because of construction. Our beach towels were rusted too.
