This hotel is located on Stratton Mountain and features numerous ski and snowboarding slopes as well as a 27-hole golf course. An on-site restaurant is also offered seasonally during the winter months. A flat-screen cable TV and free Wi-Fi are included in every room at The Black Bear Lodge at Stratton Mountain Resort. They have an private bathroom with a hairdryer and a individually controlled air-conditioning and heating. Guests can relax in the hot tub and the sauna at this Stratton Mountain Lodge. A game room is provided for entertainment. Table 43.1 Degree Bar & Eatery is open seasonally for dinner and serves American cuisine. Ski elevators are within 1312 feet from the lodge. Pros +

Convenient location to the village. Easy check in. Easy access to rooms.
The people, they are very nice and helpful. And the location is very good.
Location and value can't be beat. Great shuttle service to the mountain runs every few minutes throughout the ski day.

Cons -

Smell of room. Housekeeping knocked at 8am both mornings
The whole experience was very good, Just pretending to help, I would say that the building is very nice, but looks a bit outdated, needs to be upgraded especially the common areas. The room's bathroom look newer and nice.
Would have liked an indoor pool--but that's not a deal breaker.

It didn't pretend to be anything but what it is - a good, clean and comfortable place to sleep while you are in the area doing other things.

It was a little noisy, despite the few lodgers - they had gathered for a wedding and were obviously in "Party Mode". Also, the pillows were very HARD!
