This hotel is just off Interstate 27 and 7 minute's drive from downtown Plainview. It features cable TV with HBO, free WiFi, and an on-site bar, Mike's Sports Bar. Rooms at the Reddy Hotel have a kitchenette equipped with a microwave and a refrigerator. Flat-screen TVs are also included in every room. A continental breakfast is served every morning at this pet-friendly hotel. All rooms and public areas at the Reddy Hotel are nonsmoking. Wayland Baptist University is just 2 mi from the Reddy Hotel. The Hale County Airport is 4 mi away. Lubbock is a little over 45 minutes' drive from the hotel.

The staff was very friendly
It was a place to rest from travel and to shower. Indoor access to the room instead of outside access a plus.
The rooms had kitchen

Cons -

This hotel is very run down. It appears there have been some renovations, but when you look deeper there is many areas that have not been renovated. Equipment is old, etc. Certainly was not what I expected for a "3" star hotel, not even 2 star.
The walls were too thin. We could hear what was going on in the room beside us, the traffic outside, and other noises. This is a two star hotel, not a three star one.
There is a bar at the hotel. With loud music until 2:30 am. We were able to hear the music and commotion. We did not get enough sleep. Also, our room was not cleaned. Free breakfast was disappointing. The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable.

Nice hotel desk clerk.

There were many items that needed repair, such as a broken window covering, broken bathroom tiles, and a broken toilet paper dispenser, all of which could have been a risk for causing guest injury. There was also blood smeared on bathroom wall.
