Holiday Inn Express Kenedy By IHG

The beds and restroom was clean. Had good breakfast. But it did smell like dust since I have allergies I could clearly smell the dust.

The bathroom door would not close unless we slammed it shut or pushed it extremely hard, which was inconvenient and unsafe. On the second day, there was no water at all. When I asked at the front desk, they informed me the hotel had turned it off due to construction. Had I known this beforehand, I would not have booked here. The water was off for half of the day, and I was traveling with my children, who could not use the bathroom. We had to leave the hotel just to find a place to use the restroom.When we returned in the evening, there was no hot water, which was another surprise. We asked again, and they simply apologized. I cannot shower my toddler in cold water, and after a long day, my family also needed a proper shower. Some people may tolerate that, but we do not. It was extremely inconvenient and upsetting, and we couldn’t pick up and change hotels at 10 p.m. with tired children.Additionally, the A/C unit had a musty smell and did not cool the room properly. The room stayed warm livable, but far from what we expected.Overall, this stay was disappointing, and we do not recommend this hotel.
