Lovely hotel with clean rooms and a very comfortable bed. I really appreciated having both a breakfast buffet and an on-site bar. We were there for an event in the ballroom, and it was great to have everything in one place, it made it easy for friends to gather and spend time together. The service at the restaurant was wonderful as well.
The bathroom was a bit small, and unfortunately the pool and hot tub were closed for refinishing during our stay.

The location was excellent! It was close to the mall, movies and excellent food. The concierge Manny was AMAZING!!!

bed was comfortable room was very quiet delivery for room service was excellent. ac was kinda cool though it never met temperature.
what could have been better was service from the kitchen. I asked for three items they delivered one item and charged me delivery fee and kitchen fee. then I had to call kitchen again to deliver the rest of my meal and got charged yet again delivery fee and kitchen fee. so that could have been one charge instead of multiple. Also parking was an issue 30 dollars to park where I'm already paying 289.00 to stay a night. But all spots are taken except valet parking so had to pay them an additional 50.00 to park. Also room had ants and for some strange reason there was one ply toilet paper at a four-star hotel

Location is amazing…
I recently stayed at the Royal Sonesta in Houston and while the service was wonderful and the surroundings were beautiful, I am extremely frustrated with their handling of my deposit for incidentals. It has been over two weeks and I still haven't received my refund. Despite numerous attempts, I can't get a hold of anyone to resolve this issue. This has been a very disappointing experience and has overshadowed my otherwise pleasant stay.
