Very nice area where it’s at in Dallas and you can tell it’s a old hotel but still nice outside and inside
The sewage smell on the floor we was staying on was very unsettling couldn’t smell it in the room but definitely in the hall way also no hot water in the room we was in also our view was the view of a parking garage when I asked for a view the stay was just eh alright definitely not worth the 700 bucks For me and my wife’s anniversary tried to pick a nice place for our anniversary and this place let me down even when I mentioned the problems at checkout all they did was take care of my valet big deal

CAUTION: This hotel will NOT be able to accommodate your vehicle if you drive to Dallas. Their garage is extremely small and we were told that we could park the vehicle at our own risk that the top of our pickup truck would be “scalped”. They even told us that they have issues with luxury cars because the dip in their garage is so low. Then we were directed to park in another garage owned by the city but there was a risk of getting our catalytic converter stolen. The hotel staff was completely clueless to how to handle the situation and therefore they weren’t helpful at all. In fact they were very dismissive and rude. Talking over us and shrugging their shoulders. When I called the manager he had the same attitude. Talking over me on the phone and quickly rushing to get me off the phone. I WOULD 100000% NOT recommend this hotel.

I didn’t get to see the property much since I checked late evening and checked out next day morning . Overall the ambience of hotel is good , rooms were clean , bathroom was good . Bed was comfy .
There’s nothing that I can dislike about the property. However , my opinion is that the pillows are too soft and sinks completely. It might appeal to lot many folks ; but I think the pillows needs to be a bit firmer .

Beautiful hotel overall and nice room & location
The guest service was very disappointing. I was very surprised that it was so low quality based on how beautiful the hotel was and prime downtown location. It was my birthday weekend in which I traveled alone for a solo trip, no type of acknowledgment of my special occasion( which I also put in notes when I booked). I called down to front desk several times for different reasons and no sense of urgency. The glass shelf in my room fell and I called to have someone come take a look and fix it and no one came. I had food ordered to be delivered to the room and the attendant didn’t try to help the delivery person instead sent him away. Several different nuisances occurred and it was not what I was expecting.

Great location, clean, great breakfast and friendly staff.
Unfortunately the room was not as described on Booking.comOur room did not include the following facilities - kitchen, pants press, refrigerator, microwave, mini bar, dishwasher, hand sanitizer. We spoke to hotel directly and they said we had to contact you as the description of the advertised room was down to you. As you can see the room is substantially different and had we known this, we would have chosen a different hotel. I have medication the has to be kept cold.

Location is great
Staff was not helpful. Not thing but decaf coffee in room. They hadn’t received order for real coffee. Tried to order pot of coffee to get actual coffee. Not available to do. Had to order two individual cups and were charged a fortune for TWO cups of coffee and an order of toast - which was literally ONE piece of bread cut in half and it wasn’t even warm enough to melt the butter! Beds were hard and pillows flat as pancakes. Hotel engineer tried to enter our room while we were in it and had do not disturb sign on door.
