Adjacent to the Austin Convention Center and within walking distance to nightlife on Sixth Street, this hotel features an 8th-floor outdoor pool with hot tub and a fully-equipped fitness center. Only 0.8 mi from the Hilton Austin, guests can explore the Texas State Capitol building. Each room features a flat-screen TV with premium cable and pay-per-view channels. A compact refrigerator, iPod dock and coffee machine are also included. The private bathroom features a hairdryer and free toiletries. Laundry and room service are offered, and luggage storage is available upon request. Guests can enjoy Texas cuisine at Cannon + Belle, uncommon tacos with craft cocktails and games at Austin Taco Project, signature beverages and light fare at a full-service Starbucks and refreshing selections at the seasonally operated Pool Bar. Just 1.3 mi away, guests can spend the day at Bullock Historical Museum or the LBJ Presidential Library. Zilker Park and Barton Springs are 10 minutes' drive from the downtown hotel.

The amenities were well maintained, the staff was kind, and there was daily housekeeping. I really enjoyed that there was a peloton in the gym.

It?s very old and outdated .
A few of the staff were unkind and inconvenienced when we had any questions or typical needs.
Massive confusion regarding the Austin Taco Project restaurant. All the signs stated it was closed but we could order the menu from their second restaurant. Some staff said we could order while others said we could not, or that it was already open.

Easy check in. Clean rooms. Easy access to shops, transport and restaurants
