Pros +
- Room was very spacious and clean for our stay.
- Within walking distance to town so didn't have to pay for parking downtown. Close to hiking trails. Beautiful views.
- Convenient location, trolly pick up. Large, clean, comfortable rooms. Had everything you needed, like a well furnished apartment. Bed perfect comfort. Nice fireplace and view from balcony. Parking close to room and easy to bring items in with carts. Received supplies as needed.
Cons -
- There were a couple things that we found odd about the property. The parking garage underneath the property is a challenge to try and maneuver through and spaces are really close together. We had to walk a block and half up the street to check in for our room, which was very strange to me. There is a building directly in front of the property that you think is the office, but directs you to check a block and half away. The office staff was very nice at check in, but didn’t provide any information on anything (wifi, check out time, housekeeping services, questions we may had, etc.), again found that somewhat strange. We were then directed to go around the corner to get some “more info” which turns out it’s a timeshare company. It’s completely optional whether we wanted to attend a “meeting” or not. I have done the time share presentation in the past and it is a complete waste of my day, but if you want your free or discounted items, then that is a way to go. Overall it was a good stay, other than check in and parking was a little chaotic at first.
- Check in process was a bit confusing. Did not understand the three different building locations. Also, had a hard time finding where to check in. Although they did allow us to see the room before selecting, was told lies about availability of rooms. Requested upper level and said there were none, only to have someone above us later the week. Did have one of the maintenance workers ring our doorbell and dash only to get caught by us because at that time we were walking out the door. Front desk never did follow up with our complaint but did listen to us?.
