Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chattanooga (East Ridge) By IHG

Location was good and a lot of restaurant options. The guy at the desk even helped me find a room in Louisville our next stop.

Some updates are needed, cracked tiles but otherwise really good.

Rooms were clean

The staff was friendly and helpful. The check-in process was smooth even though I arrived late at night. The room was comfortable and clean.

Beds were comfortable and air conditioning worked very well. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was convenient to downtown.

Bathroom was not cleaned well. Very little parking available

Great location off of 75 freeway. Clean, updated room. Good breakfast with omelets, sausage and great breakfast potatoes.

I like the location.

The soap dispenser in my room was completely empty. D at the front counter was not very friendly & charged my card again when the card I intended to use was already on file .

The room was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable, the shower had good pressure, was hot and the a/c worked well. They had the Dove brand pumps available for shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and hand wash. The internet worked well and the breakfast was well stocked with many choices everyday including a pancake machine. According to the sign in the elevator, they were doing renovations on the third floor. I'm not sure if they had already done the second floor yet. If so, the hallway carpet is in desperate need of a cleaning. It was filthy. Finally, it was a short drive to the Hamilton Place Mall area (with tons of food options) and downtown Chattanooga was maybe a 15 min drive. It's a good option if you don't want to pay downtown hotel prices.

The parking lot was very small and very tight. There was not much room to back out, turn, etc. The hotel is located in East Ridge which can get a little sketchy in parts however I never felt unsafe. It's just not the most amazing part of Chattanooga.

Good location, friendly and helpful staff, clean facility, great breakfast with lots of options, good wifi, comfy beds, nice indoor pool, check out at 11am, Dove products, nice neighborhood.

The carts to take your luggage up and down are horrible. They are in a triangular shape and small. They were very difficult to use with all of our luggage.

Friendly front desk. Comfortable bed. Quiet room. Good location
