This Columbia hotel is off of Interstate 77 just 3 miles from Sesquicentennial State Park, which has mountain biking and picnic areas. An outdoor pool, free Wi-Fi, and continental breakfast buffet are provided. All guest rooms include a flat-screen cable TV, small refrigerator, and microwave. This Columbia La Quinta Inn and Suites provides coffee-making facilities, a private bathroom, and hairdryer. Guests have access to the business center throughout their stay. La Quinta Inn and Suites Columbia Northeast Fort Jackson has an an on-site laundromat as well. Fort Jackson is 5 miles away. Pros +
- Staff very pleasant, hotel (in and out) was very well kept. The room was clean and comfortable. Eateries and shopping all around. I would surely stay there again.
- Newer building.
- The staff was incredibly polite and kind. Went the exrtra mile to do whatever they could to help.
Cons -
- A hotel sign needs to be put on the main street. It sits behind a gas station. Although we were using our GPS, we still missed it twice, driving by. Breakfast was average, we decided to eat down the street. It's alot of great places.
- Ridiculously small bathroom!
- Felt run down. In my room the floor in the middle of the room dipped down and squeaked when walked on. I actually tripped when I first walked on it because I didn't expect the dip down. Mold on the shower curtain liner. Stains on bathroom floor.
