Welcome to the Holiday Inn Express and Suites Charleston Downtown- WestEdge. We are perfectly located in close proximity to Charleston's Historic District. The Holiday Inn Express & Suites features a beautiful outdoor pool, complimentary Express Start hot breakfast buffet, complimentary high-speed wireless internet. We are within walking distance to Joe Riley Baseball Field, home of the Charleston Riverdogs. We are also a very short walk to The Citadel and The Medical University of South Carolina. We are within close proximity to the Charleston area's many historic plantations, golf courses, and pristine beaches.

- The front desk agent was very professional. We had an issue with the tv in our room. She handled it very well. We we pleased with our stay
- The staff was friendly.
Cons -
- Extremely unfriendly and unhelpful staff. They assigned us a room that had not been cleaned and did the same to another person who checked in at the same time. They made it seem like a real imposition to get us a different room. Southern hospitality???BS!
- The bathroom could have been cleaner. Mildew growing in corner of shower and around door guide. Pictures were given to manager on duty at check in. Thought someone might have come to clean but didn't.
- We had to ask for bath towels twice during a 3 night stay. On day 2, they arrived to clean our room at 5:45PM. We were getting ready for dinner and did not clean the room. The did give as bath towels.
