Ariel Broadway Hotel

What beautiful renovated old building! Views were great. Staff very professional and friendly. Highly recommend

Great location, room was spacious (King suites)

Decor and furniture is sparse, king suite just echos, need throw rug, lamps a chair in addition to the couch room seemed empty. Seems updated but rough around the edges. Sports bar greeted guest with a list of food they were out of

Being close to the water, sports bar. Hotel is old so has some unique charm. Wish that we could¿ve enjoyed the rooftop without having to pay a $20 charge.

Air conditioning wasn¿t on or was broke. It¿s the middle of May, our room was 70 degrees. We were told to crack a window in turn meant we got to listen to street traffic all night. Shower wasn¿t very clean.

The location is close to Lake Erie

Parking seemed limited because of the icy condition and no one put salt out.

It was decently clean in the room.

I couldn't get staff on the phone for hours while trying to get basic needs like extra pillows. We had to chase down people in the bar who wouldn't answer. The reservation line just kept hanging up on us when we were trying to get assistance.

The building is extremely unique. We didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant, but it did smell good. The staff was extremely helpful and kind.

This place smells awful. It doesn’t hit as soon as you walk in the door but once you get to the floor, you’re staying on the spell is all you can focus on and it gets even worse. Once you get into your room we stayed on the fourth floor, the carpets look dirty the floor in the bedroomhad crumbs and dirt. sheets looked clean enough, but I definitely was not very impressed. there was trash in the corners of the room like all they did was come in and put the sheets on the bed and left the shelf in the shower. Looked as if it was ready to fall off the wall.

The staff at the end of our stay was friendly. We had an incident and the lady at the desk was very kind about it. Our kids enjoyed looking out the windows at the lake.

We were not informed there was a wedding that same day we were staying there, on the same floor. The wedding reception was extremely loud. We have 4 small children so to have to deal with the loud music late at night was dissatisfying.

Close to work

No continental breakfast. Thermostat didn’t work in first room, had to move to a different room. Hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. Brought my food from restaurant to my room for the inconvenience

Beautiful building

The prtinted vaping signs everywhere was a bit tacky, maybe make some official signs or make your policy known elsewhere, both chairs in our room were dirty, maybe cleaners missed cleaning them, rest of the room was clean though. Pillows were average at best. I would stay there again 100%.

The location was perfect for the area. We loved the room which was very clean and modern. The bed was super comfortable. There were a few boutique shops located in the hotel and a very nice restaurant. The staff was very friendly and informative. We also found a concert happening next to the hotel that we were pleasantly surprised about. We had a fantastic time at this property and hope to stay here again.

I would have liked to have a bedside table on both sides of the bed for my phone.

Breakfast in the dining room was exceptional. We sat looking out over the Black River and Lake Erie. We had the best pancakes that we can remember having. The service was friendly and attentive.

Excellent location and lake view. Easy parking. Clean.

Room had loud mechanical noise all night. Also was too cold and thermostat would not reset to warmer temperature.

Place was perfect, bed was cozy and comfortable, The hotel had everything you needed imo, felt safe as well so that’s a +

I wanted to extend my days, but they had told me there was no availability that everything was booked and then when I looked online, there was rooms available so that was the downfall about the property

This is a very cool hotel. It’s clean, the staff is friendly, the rooms were spacious and updated, the restaurant and bars were amazing, and the hotel had a very upscale feel.

The only thing we didn’t like was that the pool was closed when we were there. My son and I bought swim suits just for our stay and couldn’t use them.
