Location was perfect. It’s near the stadium. The hotel is also located in the Short North. You can walk to so many restaurants/ shops / bars.
Parking is high. I don’t know a city where parking isn’t high though.

This was my second stay in the Joseph and I love it. The hotel is beautiful, modern, smells so good. The room is super clean and comfortable, the snacks are delicious and the staff is very pleasant. And the location is great, close to downtown but in a much better area where you can walk around and experience many cool shops, cafes and restaurants. All perfect.
The bar in the hotel could be a little bigger and better service. But that is just if I am being really picky.

The hotel was nice, staff was kind and offered a free drink when they overheard it was our anniversary. The design of the hotel was cool and location was great.
The shower was gross, hair on the wall at eye level. If I'm paying $300+ for a room I should be wow-ed. We were not. I would likely book an airbnb next time.

Poor service - requested to have our TV remote control fixed and did not get assistance. Room relatively small for the price. Not what we expected for above $---.

The property was in an amazing location and more upscale compared to nearby hotels. There is also a parking garage nearby, or valet available. The lobby is beautiful and has a great bar. Additionally, the service/staff was incredibly welcoming. Plus, Malin + Goetz soap?! A win for sure!!!
However, for a place of this price and reputation, I expected the room to be cleaner. It smelled of we*d from someone smoking in a nearby room, and the shower, floors, and countertop felt grimy. The towels smelled musty, and the duvet underneath the coverlet was yellowed. Overall the cleanliness was only a 7/10 and for a place this “nice” I want to feel at home, where it’s safe to put my feet on the floor and head on my pillow.Additionally, you can hear EVERY single noise from inside and outside the hotel from your room. So my sleep was disrupted by rowdy guests and room service at all hours.

Location was good, very clean
Parking should be included in stay instead of 35$ a day. We spent a lot on the hotel for it not to have parking or a pool/tub.
