Hotel Indigo Cleveland Downtown by IHG

We liked how nice everything looked aside from the bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful.

There was mold in our shower. We were not allowed to bring any food upstairs even though it was included in the stay and we had vouchers for breakfast. We did not have time to sit down and eat downstairs. Very disappointed with this policy.

Included breakfast was ordered from menu and cooked fresh in kitchen. Lots of good options.Room was spacious. Good location near downtown Cleveland.Staff very friendly and helpful.

Bed was not made up when we arrived at 10:30 pm.Ceiling was peeling. Dated look and feel.Long wait to get hot water in Bathroom (6th floor).

TV only had cable with limited channels, so I couldn't log into my streaming services to enjoy any movie/show like most other hotels offer at minimum. There was hair in the shower drain and the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. Front desk person was very bland and not welcoming - I was given no info on breakfast, restaurant (didn't know there was one!), check out time, wifi info, anything. Windows in the room wouldn't stay open. Lots of noise heard from rooms next door & outside (from the 7th flr).

big room; most of the amenities inside the room were up to speed; hardwood floor; fridge; good blinds to keep the room dark; I believe you could actually open the windows; excellent location close to everything really; based on price point, I would stay there again; Michael who checked me in was very good - everyone else I dealt with was a tad overwhelmed or under supported; my takeaway is that this hotel is very busy on a weekend and then not so much on the weeknights but based on price point and location there is no reason that I wouldn't stay here again despite my thoughts below

although fortunately lots of plugs for devices but they didn't all seem to function; luggage rack was sorely missing; this is partially on me but Do Not Disturb sign was missing which led to some inconsistencies as the room was cleaned one day and not the next; frankly I didn't understand the inconsistency - lesson learned - if you don't need your room cleaned ask for a Do Not Disturb sign; the shower handle to close the shower door would come off its hinge occasionally and the hook on the bathroom door was missing;

We reserved a standard king room. We were given a 2 queen bed room. Smaller bed than we needed for us. The beds we very hard and sheets were scratchy. The room was not cleaned well at all. Pink mold all over the bathroom. Hair, I can see cup rings on the end tables and dresser from previous guest that wiped away easily. So it just wasnt cleaned. We also were put next to a very horrible sounding elevator. It clicked and banged LOUD all night. The location next to the rocket arena was fantastic.. I think they know they'll always book out for events due to the location so cleanliness isnt a priority for them. I would book here again just because of the location but certainly not for the actual hotel. It was pretty sleezy to say the least.

The entire hotel is not clean. The bathrooms were disgusting. Hair, pink mold, funk all over.. they need a SERIOUS revamp on their cleaning crew. They should all be fired and hired new. The currently cleaners are NOT doing their job whatsoever.

Valet service was terrible! Waited 1 hour to receive my car on departure day.No complimentary coffee in the mornings for a hotel of this status is unacceptable.Elevator was very slow.

This hotel is perfect! Location is amazing if you're going to a sporting event or concert. Location only sucks if you're getting food delivery/uber because it's one-way and your driver cant get through if there's an event going on. ANYWAY, staff is amazing and super helpful. Beds are extremely comfy and I love that I can control heat and a/c (bc sometimes it's too cold and the heat needs to run for 3 minutes lol). Lots of dining and drinking options around as well.

The shower head makes no sense to me. It looks like it has a removable hand-held shower nozzle, but when you remove it nothing happens. The water pressure is decent enough but hand-held nozzle would be great

So close to so much! Walkable to many bars/restaurants, Progressive Field and Rocket Arena. Valet made it easy and convenient to get in and out. Comfortable beds, nice sized rooms
