The room was fine for my brother and I on an overnight ski trip. It is definitely rustic and the bathroom wasn't the cleanest, with visible mold in the corners of the shower.

The room was clean and quiet

I did not like going out the room to the front office to use a microwave because I had to give up privacy about coffee and especially because a refrigerator was in the room

Hotel is in a great location, and is less then a 5 minute drive to Whiteface Mountain. You can actually see the mountain's peak from the back window of the room. You are also only about 15 minutes from Lake Placid. There is also a good pub onsite. Safe.
